Meet Tara Ivatts, RN! Tara has been with HMEA for thirteen years and currently serves as our Adult Family Care (AFC) Nursing Supervisor. We were excited to catch up with her recently to learn more about her personal and professional journey.
Tell us about your journey at HMEA.
I’ve been at HMEA for thirteen years. I’ve always worked with Adult Family Care, but I was also able to work with the Shared Living program and Darnell School while the AFC program was growing!
What is something that people might be surprised to learn about your job?
People might be surprised to know that this job gave me the opportunity to pursue my bachelor’s degree while working.
What’s your favorite thing about working at HMEA?
My favorite thing about working at HMEA has always been how family-friendly and supportive the organization is.
What’s a fun fact that people might not know about you?
I’m getting ready to welcome my seventh baby this spring!
