Providing education, leadership and mentoring
The Family Leadership Program gives families opportunities to learn, grow and mentor other families who have children with disabilities. The FLP includes the Family Leadership Series, the A Full Life Ahead Workshops, Adovcacy Bootcamp as well as additional opportunties for leadership and advocacy.
The Family Leadership Series is developed — and run — by family members and Family Leadership Graduates who are caring for their loved ones. You’ll find warm welcomes, up-to-date information and unparalleled support. The people in the room understand exactly what you’re going through and are there to help.
The Family Leadership Series is organized annually into three, two-day workshops. Participants are required to attend all three sessions. The 2017 Family Leadership Series is:
- Friday and Saturday, January 20-21, 2017
- Friday and Saturday, March 24-25, 2017
- Friday and Saturday, May 5-6, 2017
