Welcome to the Family Room...

HMEA’s Family Action Council was created to help facilitate collaboration amongst families regarding supports for their loved one(s) with disabilities. They meet regularly striving to engage, enhance and empower the lives of all. Through these meetings terrific ideas have surfaced, which would be beneficial to so many families with members who are disable. One idea that surfaced recently was providing a calendar of scheduled activities and events that are available in local communities or organizations. VINFEN Family Celebration Event - "Honor Our Local Heroes" SEPTEMBER 15th - 6:00PM at the Four Points Sheraton, Norwood, MA(information and registration contacts available here)

Elin Howe, DDS Commissioner will be there. Susan Wornick of WCVB-TV will be the MC, and Susan Seantor, author of "The Autim Mom's Survial Guide" is the Keynote Speaker. This event will also recognize several area families.

Complimentary meal will be served and there will be raffle drawings! It's a nice night for families to get together...please join us!
