Applying for Food Stamps and other
helpful web sites:This site provides detailed information
on how to get food stamps and who qualifies. It has a FAQ page and a calculator
to find out if someone qualifies for food stamps, along with providing links to
several other extremely helpful web sites. There is also information on the
locations for the "Dollar A Bag" food program, which allows people to
buy fresh vegetables, fruits and bread for $1.00 per bag. They must supply their
own grocery bags.
