HMEA's 8th Annual Independence 5K Walk/Run in the Park , which was held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 was a HUGH success thanks to our many friends, family, staff and people we support through our programs. We particularly want to THANK our sponors, too many to list here, for their generosity and contnued support of HMEA's mission. And acknowledge our good friends at EMC2 Corporation for once again hosting this event on their soccer field in Franklin. Gail Huff from WCVB-TV Channel 5 and Gene Lavanchy from Fox News25 we thank you for lending a hand and doing such a great job!

As always the proceeds from this event have benefited the 2,400 children and adults with intellectual disabilities supported by HMEA.
